This tear drop planter is hand made from porcelain and glazed in a turquoise satin matte glaze. The breeze block textured design is a vibrant orange. The dimensions on this are 10 inches tall x 3.25 inches wide. The planter space is 3 inches wide x 4 inches deep. Like most everything I make my designs are heavily inspired by Mid Century Modern Design and the wonderful combinations of shapes and colors from that amazing era. This lil guy is very heavy duty and has a drainage hole in the bottom. Planter does not come with plant or metal hanger. Tho this shape may seem simplistic it is a very complicated and time consuming design to make from porcelain. Some of the simplest shapes are the most difficult due to the cracking and the warping of the pieces during the firing process. This is fired to a cone 6 with temperatures reaching up to 2170 degrees Fahrenheit. So it gets super freakin hot!!!!
